The good news is that we'll be getting two pixar movies next year: The highly anticipated "Inside Out" (June 2015) and "The Good Dinosaur" (November 2015).
Apparently, this last one has been completely reimagined! According to actor John Lithgow who was interviewed by Collider, the story of "The Good Dinosaur" has some big changes...
Lithgow said:
“I recorded the entire role in Good Dinosaur. They have now dismantled it and completely reimagined it, and it is a fantastic new story. So I’m gonna record again on it within the next month. Don’t worry. It’s coming and it’s gonna be better than I ever imagined.”
Although Lithgow is still in the movie voice cast. In fact, he's voicing Poppa and he also confirmed that Frances McDormand is still voicing Momma, too:
But me and Frannie McDormand, we’re still playing Momma and Poppa dinosaur.
With all these changes, can the other actors change?
Here's last year's cast: John Lithgow as the father of a family of farming Apatosaurs, and Frances McDormand as the mother. These two are confirmed to still part of the movie. But what about the others? Bill Hader, Neil Patrick Harris, and Judy Greer were to voice Arlo’s siblings, and Lucas Neff as the lead character Arlo?
So, what can the changes be? What can we expect from Pixar this time?
Last year, this was the plot:
“The Good Dinosaur” asks the generations-old question: What if the cataclysmic asteroid that forever changed life on Earth actually missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? In theaters May 30, 2014, the film is a humorous and exciting original story about Arlo, a lively 70-foot-tall teenage Apatosaurus with a big heart. After a traumatic event rattles Arlo’s tranquil community, he sets out on a quest to restore peace, gaining an unlikely companion along the way—a young human boy named Spot."and NOW?
Hopefully, we'll be getting more and more informations about this movie very soon. Stay Tuned for the latest updates.
The Good Dinosaur is set for release on November 25, 2015.
