Disney Animation Studios stereoscopic supervisor Robert Neuman talks 'Big Hero 6'

"Scott" recently caught up with , who’s working on the big screen Marvel animated movie Big Hero 6. He also worked on the 3D conversions of classics like The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast, along with the recent blockbuster Frozen. He says that despite the fact that Big Hero 6 is being made by Disney’s animation team, it will stay true to its comic book roots and have an appropriate tone and feel that isn’t too childish.


Big Hero 6 is a superhero team comprised of manga-style characters, including a heroic version of Silver Samurai and a boy genius who builds robots. They battle evil in a futuristic city called San Fransokyo, which combines San Francisco and Tokyo for a fusion of American and Japanese cultures.
