The Walt Disney Animation Studios has roped Henry Jackman to compose the soundtrack for their next feature film, "Big Hero 6," which is based on a series of comic books from Marvel Comics. Jackman worked with the studio in the past two productions: "Winnie the Pooh" (2011) and "Wreck-it Ralph" (2012) The composer also wrote the music for "Captain America: The Wintry Soldier" (2014), from Marvel Studios. Among his other works are "X-Men: First Class" (2011) and "Captain Philips" (2013).

Disney’s Big Hero 6 tells the story of a brilliant robotics prodigy, Hiro Hamada and his robot Baymax, who discover a criminal plot and must team up with a misfit bunch of crime fighters in the midst of the metropolis San Fransokyo. The CGI animated film is based on the Marvel comic of the same name and is directed by Don Hall (Winnie The Pooh) and Chris Williams (Bolt) and releases on November 7, 2014.
